SENIOR THESIS PROJECT:

Persian Cultural & Exhibition Center

The project design journey blends Persian craftsmanship, organic construction, and sustainability into a harmonious tapestry, seeking equilibrium through rhythm, contrast, and traditional Persian essence. Design thrives in the details, where every connection tells a story and fosters functionality, crafting multisensory experiences that promote individuality for anyone walking through the space.

In line with the exhibition's design intent of openness and user experience, openings are incorporated in the form of grids throughout the space. These grids not only create an open environment but also offer users varying degrees of privacy and interaction. They also allow different ways of light interacting with the space. Different variations in the openings are intentionally designed to evoke different emotions and sensations of visitors as they navigate the exhibition.

Culture, like porosity, reveals its essence through subtle details. As a minority, our culture’s richness is often overlooked but invites deeper exploration.

Just as pores are subtle yet profound, culture reveals its essence in the intricate details and fragments woven into our lives. Like pores, the layers of the exhibition center hold the richness of our identity, waiting to be explored. As a minority, feeling overlooked on the surface, our culture showcases itself through subtle nuances, inviting others to delve deeper.
